I can't say why as it's too outing, but having a really down day. Finding it difficult to rise out of a depressive state.
Can you share any funny stories or uplifting thoughts to help cheer me up please?
Thank you in advance 🙏🏼

I teach reception. Today I asked the children to write something down that they were going to be doing this weekend. Most wrote ‘park’ or similar, apart from one boy who wrote ‘moon’. I asked what he meant and he went on to give a very elaborate tale of how he and his dad were turning their house into a rocket and were planning on flying to the moon for the weekend, but they’ll be back in time for school. Made me smile and hope it does for you Smile

I teach year 1. I was in my classroom at lunchtime sorting my afternoon lessons and a pupil came in to get her water bottle. She looked at me and stopped, then said 'are you alright in here on your own?' It melted my heart! I reassured her I was ok and thanked her for being so lovely

I got the last space in the car park at work which meant I didn't have to pay for parking.
My tween daughter got Learner of the Week today. And let me take a photo and post it on fb! She normally refuses to have her photo taken.
My bastard printer actually printed out a document I needed without me spending 45 minutes cajoling it.
I'm not sure if they are uplifting or inspiring but they made my day!

My toddler DS has been poorly for over a week necessitating a hospital stay he's home now and I showed him a letter from his school nursery that he will be starting in September. I was telling him how wonderful it would be and how many lovely friends he would make. He looked at me and said but I don't need other friends Mommy you are my best pal 🥰🥰.

** pal has come from one of the lovely nurses who looked after him at the hospital.

These are all lovely 🥰
@mommybear1 glad to hear little bear is on the mend

Every time I have winded Tiny Fosterling today (just a few days old) Slightly Older Fosterling (aged 1) has looked at me with a big grin and winded the floor where he has been sitting in perfect time to my patting on TF back.

After having to postpone it twice, my sister is finally having her hand fasting ceremony tomorrow in an idyllic part of the Yorkshire countryside. The legal marriage happened today in the registry office, but tomorrow is the bit everyone is looking forward to. I'm doing lateral flow tests tonight so me and my DC can hopefully attend as planned Smile
