Have a look round borough market. Go up the shard (£££ but fun). Southwark cathedral is interesting if that is your/her thing.

Borough Market is always a winner for wet days at London Bridge!

Go for a look around Borough Market?

Do they like history?
The Temple of Mithras building under the Bloomberg office on the north side of the bridge is really interesting, plus it is right next to Monument

Do they like fashion? The Fashion and Textiles museum is quite close (I'm assuming it is open again)

What sort of thing do you want to do? Tourist attraction wise, you've got loads round there - the Shard viewing gallery, HMS Belfast, the Golden Hind (actually, that might be closed for refurbishment at the moment), Tower Bridge, The Clink, London Dungeon, London Bridge Experience, the Old Operating Theatre.

Borough market is on as it's a Friday and it'll be less busy than the weekend. I'd go there rather than Bills for lunch, tbh. Bermondsey street is always nice for a wander, good independent shops and restaurants. I saw someone glass blowing in one of the galleries there last time I went, which was interesting.

As above the Fashion and Textile Museum is worth visiting.

ThePlantsitter · 18/06/2021 11:39

The Old operating theatre is good and a bit gruesome - fine if she's late teens! You book online now I expect.

We will walk up to the fashion museum and look around the area
