Has anyone switched and how did you find it? DS has had a cabin bed for a while but it seems to take up the whole room and block the light. It feels like quite a depressing room. I feel like a single bed would give him a lot more 'headspace', but it would obviously remove quite a lot of floor space. He spends barely any time in there at the moment, but I would hope he might work at a desk when he starts secondary school in September. Doesn't need floor space to play or anything.
