I keep coming across rave reviews for using magnesium flakes in the bath. Are they really as good as it's made out?

No idea about the flakes but I use this
magnesiumbodylotion

After a week of using it nightly after my shower I started sleeping better than I have in years. I’ve since read the results of a study that say absorption through skin is minimal but, whatever, it feels like it works for me.

Cacao powder, as opposed to cocoa powder, is high in magnesium so if you bake chocolate cakes or drink hot chocolate you will get magnesium that way.

Having tried oil, flakes and the lotion suggested above, I think the lotion is more effective and quicker as you need to lie in a bath of flakes for at least 20 minutes apparently. I also agree that the evidence for absorption through the skin is poor, and yet it seems to work for me too. I use it for benign ectopic heartbeats.

Currently in a bath of magnesium flakes! Helps my msk pains. When I went through a period of insomnia, they helped then too. I do also like the lotion but am out of it at the mo.
