Sticky stickers on the skin - how to remove

I've been put on hrt patches. They are extra sticky so they can be waterproof but when I take them off I am left with a square of sticky on the outside. Showering and bathing doesn't get it off so I am currently scrubbing it but that's abrasive and irritates the skin. Any tips ?

Baby oil or whatever oil you use for cooking.

Oil, or nail polish remover. Oil is probably kinder to the skin!

You can buy medical adhesive remover online, including Amazon. It will be the quickest and gentlest

Oil or sanitiser gel

Baby oil rubbed on really works . Also good for labels that are hard to shift.

Soak a bit of vodka on cotton wool if you have any. It's 40% ethanol so should help.
