I have a baxi combi boiler with a Honeywell heating and hot water switch for a while if we have turned the hot water switch on the heating has also came on and now it’s all stuck on ! I’ve tried resetting it turning thermostat down and have ended up turning radiators but it won’t turn off at all . I am covered to have an engineer out I think as in private rental but can anyone put my mind at ease overnight that this will be safe to have on ?

Just turn it off at the wall. You don't need hot water while you are asleep. Sounds like the issue is with the stat and not the boiler itself.

Will that be safe when heating and hot water are stuck on

You switch it off at the wall and it switches off the heating and hot water. The only time you shouldn’t fiddle with switches, either on or off is if you suspect a gas leak.

No don’t suspect a leak think it’s a valve that’s possibly went wonky
