Father's Day tomorrow, my DP’s first one. I still haven’t wrapped the gift or written the card. I bought them on Monday. For Mother’s Day he got me a funky pigeon card with a photo of baby that said “Mummy, I love you to the moon and back” so I have a bar to meet. Can’t remember the gift at all. What’s everyone got planned?

1. is not married/separated
2. has a job/career
3. has his own home
4. organised the date
5. very funny outgoing and is keen to plan adventures out
6. has not sent any dick pics, asked for nudes
7. asked me lots of questions rather than just talk about himself
8. very attentive

Cons

1. we split the bill (I accept I'm old fashioned)
2. is one inch taller then me (it's ok as I'm not a smurf but I do like a tall man).

I haven't got DH a gift, this week has been nuts so kinda forgot to buy an annual dad t-shirt. I confessed. he's not fussed; I'll get him one next week.
younger ones will make him & FIL some cards tomorrow morning.

Nothing big planned for Father's Day, as DH does not care. Just hanging out with the three of us, and we might go for a nice long walk (around the football schedule, of course).

We're seeing DH's parents in their garden tomorrow. We haven't seen them for almost two years thanks to the pandemic. No human children here, I'm afraid.

This is my DPs second, as DS was born a couple of days before father's Day last year. But this is the first year of presents. I got him a set of 9 magnets with photos on, they've come out great too. Forgot to pick up a card, oops

Well would say he is very handsome at early 50s (I'm late 40s) but I perhaps wouldn't use the word 'hot'.
But I'm thinking that is a good sign as usually the 'hot' guys don't last a minute as the have a queue of women waiting for attention.

@featherbird I think it’s promising you share how you wish to spend your time, adventures and going out. And that he’s shown a keen interest in you by taking initiative. I think don’t dismiss your need for traditional aspects, it’s just as important as the other stuff. It’s how you spend your every day with your partner.

One of my DP’s pro points is that his grandad in his 90s was still hot (don’t judge me). Unfortunately yes, you’re right, his grandmother had to tolerate a lot of straying and other issues, I don’t know the full details.
