It's taking much longer! I thought it would take 3-4 hours. It's coming up on 48! But, I guess that's just stretching out the fun. I have a feeling more people will jump on once it gets closer.

Today DH and I went out for lunch at our local pub. It was sunny so we sat outside. Saw some friends also having lunch there. It felt wonderful.

Being as it's Friday night is anyone heading out to a pub? Staying in with a takeaway and a drink? Going on a date?

In short, what are we all up to?

It's Mexican night for us, I'll do tons of it so we can have leftovers at the weekend, I have tequila but I'll probably stick to wine. DC get to choose a film. I'm a single parent with no real support network close by, so not much (zero) chance of hitting the town.

Staying in and watching the football (half-heartedly, but DH liked it). Then to bed with DD and probably posting a lot on this thread.

DH is watching football. Am going to watch the telly box with DD with some Doritos and muffins that MIL has delivered for us

DH did Indian style picky bits and rice for dinner tonight.

DC1 is ensconced in the bedroom chatting to friends online. DC3 is at Sea Scouts. DH is out on his bike and DC2 and I are having a Marvel-lous night with Antman and Antman and Wasp.

My son who claims to hate football with a passion is watching the football...

My provisional driver's licence arrived today! At the advanced age of thirty-something, I will finally learn how to drive a manual vehicle.

I know most people do this as teenagers, but I wasn't eligible to drive for many years because of my neurological conditions. They are now under control, though. Better late than never.
