I'd sorted out out to get along with my ex - and then the new girlfriend came along and I've not really sussed out how to deal with her.

She seems to believe I want my ex back - I don't know how to get her to realise nothing could be further from the truth. I think she wants me to act jealous rather than unconcerned.

We have lovely blue skies with little clouds scudding across this evening. The window is open and all I can hear is the seagulls. There is a pair of fluffy chicks teetering around on the roof opposite.

We have murky grey skies and I can hear kids in the flats behind us screeching at each other. There are no fluffy chicks. I'm jealous.

Grey sky here but very humid.

I think I'm getting new neighbours tomorrow. The house has had a sold sign up for ages and it looks like he's packing the last of the stuff into his car. I'm a bit nervous. I hope they're nice.

My neighbour (creepy concrete guy) keeps promising to move but can't until he sells his overpriced hovel (it's actually really nice inside apart from the concrete front and back gardens). He does noisy DIY at least once a week (unless he's dismembering bodies - which I don't completely discount).

I don't think I could get a worse new neighbour (hopefully not cursed myself now!)

I'm just glad it's cool today. We live in a top floor apartment with huge, south facing windows. It gets like a sauna in the summer months - even when it's only around 24°C.

Bloody typical they stop when I try and video it and a load of cars go past 🙄 took a couple of pictures but they are not too clear unfortunately
