Who can remember what the TV programme was called

So we are going back about 30 years. I used to go to the pub in a Friday night and when I got home there was a sort of soap opera on (must have been around 11.30pm). The credits had a stained glass window and it was about a posh family. The son was called Gabriel and he was having bad marriage troubles. Probably wasn't channel 4 - because that would have been the Tube . No one I know can remember it and I am starting to think I am imagining it. Help mumsnetters.

God I really want to know what this is now. I did wonder if it was No Place Like Home but I think it’s longer ago and no Gabriel.
