Periods in 19 year old

Dd is having periods every three months. I’ve tried to encourage her to visit the doctors she’s saying these no point. I’ve never had these issues myself. Is it worth her going.

I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries at that age after sporadic periods. It was a real relief to know the cause. I would imagine she is worried even if she doesnt say so. So definitely worth seeing doc I would imagine

I wonder if the worry that deep down she probably thinks it’s pcos and isn’t ready to accept it. Our gp practice also has two males and a very part time female
