Does anyone have a Ninja Air Fryer? Can I cook chicken in it?

My lovely DM has bought me a Ninja Dual Air Fryer . I’ve been coveting it for a while but could never justify the price so I’m delighted!

The first meal I want to make is marinated chicken pieces (to put in pittas with salad). Can I put raw diced chicken in the fryer?

How long would I typically cook it for?

I’m struggling to find recipes online; should I buy a recipe book? Smile

About 15 mins.

Hope this helps a bit

Yes you can! It comes with a book to tell you the timings for all different kinds of food. We use ours nearly every day!

I have the Ninja with the temperature probe, not the dual but they are similar. love mine. I hardly ever use my oven anymore.

Chicken breasts cook really quickly, takes about 10 mins depending on the size so keep checking to see if they're done. I find chicken thighs work better

Same! I do put baking paper in the bottom when doing chicken wings so I'm assuming I can do the same with cookies.

Hand cut chips are so yummy in the air dryer although they do shrink so you need more than you would think.

I made them after reading the ham, egg and chips thread!

I haven’t found anything that isn’t better in the airfryer! I did marinated chicken thighs in there last night for gyros and they were AMAZING. If it’s quite a wet sauce I’d put some tin foil under the basket so you don’t make loads of mess

Have a look at Salted Pepper on YouTube.

She (Louise) explains everything as she goes along. She does fantastic recipes and before long, you will be too!

My current favourite is chicken thighs coated in Aldi's dry bbq rub seasoning , I add a drizzle of honey when they're almost cooked to make them sticky - so quick, easy and delicious 😋
