Nutribullet - removing smells from blade attachment

Apologies if this isn't the right forum but hoping someone might be able to help.

My DH used the Nutribullet last night to make a marinade for some pork chops. He left the leftover marinade in the Nutribullet overnight and now we can't get rid of the smell. We've tried running it with white vinegar but that hasn't helped...any tips?

Try soaking it with warm water and bicarbonate of soda. I've left garlicky stuff in mine before like this and that helps.

Take out the rubber seal - despite what is said stuff gets stuck under there. A cocktail stick is useful for getting it out. You can cover the rubber in bicarb which helps.

Thanks @DreamingOfTheSouthOfFrance and @Binglebong - unfortuantely nothing has worked so the DH has bought a new blade attachment (which is no bad thing as he once used the NB to try and break up lobster shells, so it probably needed replacing anyway!)
