Schools in and around Cirencester?

Hi, looking for good primary schools in and around Cirencester please. According to Gov UK figures, Powells is at the top but apparently it is full. Can anyone advise please on other good schools in the area or surrounding villages? Thanks

Was going to say Powells, as that's where my daughter went.

Ampney Crucis was a good school, in a village so may be harder to get to, but class sizes are smaller. Only problem I found is that because each year is so small it's a big jump to the secondary schools

If travelling isn't a problem, Fairford Primary is a good school, my nephew is there and seems to be thriving

To be fair, I wouldn't say there are any "bad" schools that need to be avoided. However my children are now grown up so I am out of the loop at bit, but didn't want to leave you hanging!

Someone else may come on and say different!

Thanks @LadyShort for your reply - shame about Powell's as it looks to be a good school. I will have a look at the others you have mentioned.

My friends children go to Crudwell school which is just over 5 miles from cirencester. Lovely village school and her children have loved it, think they have space at the moment as there is a sign up as you drive past. Great part of the country, enjoy
