Nice soap dish that drains..

Any ideas? Prefer bar soap to soap in plastic bottles….but hate it sitting in a puddle.

OOh thank you - googling that led me to JOhn Lewis who have quite a range...and the Joseph one looks good.

So many soap dishes over so many years,still not found the perfect one. For function,I found using an upside down nail brush works well. Recently I've been using a large marble dish with polished pebbles in it. That has worked really well but you need the room for it.

I have never yet found a soap dish that drains properly and doesn't leave a mass of soapy gunge under the dish, especially not on these modern flat sink tops that don't drain. But what works is to sit the soap on top of an upside down milk-bottle lid and sit both on my nice soap dish. Green plastic is not beautiful, but it really works!

(Polished pebbles sounds a lot prettier! )

Lakeland Silicone Soap Saver Dish

I bought two of these a couple of years ago and I've been very pleased with them. Water drains away from the spout so there's no soapy slime, they are easy to clean, and, being silicone, they won't chip the hand basins or shatter.

I have one like this, it’s plastic but does work
