Pasta is a huge one in our family so is rice. Also tuna. I don't even know why. Maybe we've had too much during lockdown or something. Wbu?

Chicken stir fry. DP loves it so I used to make it once a week. I now can’t bare the sight of it.

Lamb. It's DELICIOUS, but just can't do it anymore.

Lamb here too. I love a juicy roast lamb but too many hours scrolling through pictures of cute lambs on twitter have put me off.

Spag bol. Just had enough. I must have made it once a week or so for 20 years as DC were growing up.

It's funny the things we ate once a week we can't stand anymore (pasta, stir fry, spaghetti) too yet some people from the older generation can eat the same things everyday.

There are lots of benefits to stopping smoking, however I can't cope with spicy food any more. Korma is the hottest I can cope with now.

Pregnancy seems to have made my IBS flare up again, which I haven't suffered with for about ten years. So at the moment I can't cope with chillis at all, and I suspect I'd suffer with onions too but aversions are preventing me from getting anywhere near them!

Food you can’t chew!!
Soup/Mash/smoothies etc

Workinghardeveryday · 15/06/2021 16:22

Roast dinner

elp30 · 15/06/2021 16:24

I can no longer eat dairy and I'm heartbroken 💔

I used to enjoy a glass of milk with a cookie, a fettuccine Alfredo with extra Parmesan, ice cream sundaes and root beer floats, cheese enchiladas, clotted cream on scones or strawberries with cream...

Stupid lactose-intolerance that I developed at age 45. Lactose-free substitutes suck!

elp30 · 15/06/2021 16:27

I'll add that one thing I have completely gone off recently are prawns, tuna, potato chips, popcorn, green beans, broccoli and pickled jalapeños. It's extremely odd. I may have overeaten all of those things.

Elphame · 15/06/2021 16:27

Risotto

Gone right off them and I've loads of risotto rice too. Rice pudding it is then

Workinghardeveryday · 15/06/2021 16:29

@elp30 it gets easier, you do adapt and get used to it. Don’t dwell on what you can’t eat anymore, you will seriously depress yourself! X

I went off potatoes for ages, after over doing it with the potato eating. Like them again now though.
