When everyone one else likes to hit snooze

Those time robbing feckers have had it. I'm going to get my revenge somehow.

I set an alarm, usually wake before it. I wake get washed and dressed then start work. I'm not a morning person, I just don't want to waste time.

I have a late start today and can sleep in for an extra hour. Every other fecker has set their alarms and hit snooze, one of them at least 90 mins before they have to get up.

If I have seven hours from going to sleep, that how long I want to sleep for. The weekend was flat out and there will be no opportunity for naps for sleeping in until Sunday. I'm the only person awake.

Of course I have mentioned it and will say something again later. This is unacceptable. For right now, I'm venting.

So you can hear their repeated alarms and that’s waking you up?

FindingMeno · 15/06/2021 07:03

I'm rubbish at staying in bed. As soon as my eyes ping open, I'm up, and waking up everyone who has snoozed their alarms and should be up.
Hell, I am the alarm in my house and no-one snoozes me because I'm disgustingly cheerful and bubbly first thing.

SamMaxFrankieDuke · 15/06/2021 08:30

Yep, alarms going off, every ten mins since 5:30am. 10 minute alarms were mostly slept through at first. Except by me.

I was a night owl until I had DC. They would be awake for the day before Cbeebies started. Now I wake much earlier. I lay all my clothes out and straighten my hair for extra time in bed so I can optimise sleep time.

Disgustingly cheerful won't cut it FindingMeno.

Seriously though, their quality of sleep must be shite. I've never done this and cannot understand.

I will ban snooze buttons when I am queen of the world! Set an alarm and get up!!! We had many arguments about DH's use of the snooze button when we moved in together and he came round when he realised he did feel better for another hour of unbroken sleep.

Exactly toomuchfaster, I'll vote for you

Alarms were going off for 1.5 hours before anyone got up.

DC slept right through them all and have been told to set one only. DH is sleeping in the spare room tonight. Not banished, just trying it out.
