When I kiss my babies cheeks

She half closes her eyes, smiles and almost purrs with happiness.....that, that right there makes it all worth it.

Plus she's at the lovely baby rolls nearly crawling stage and I could just eat her.

That is all.

Anything simple making your heart soar today?

my 11 week old has discovered a newfound love for the light shade in my bedroom and when i lay her on my bed, every single time without fail she will look up at the ceiling and smile and chat to it for ages. it’s so cute to see

My 29 year old DS is getting married soon. His fiancée is lovely, they're so happy and I'm so chuffed for them. I can't believe how quickly the years have passed. My heart is bursting with pride and happiness.

Oh what’s wonderful thread! @bookh my 12 week old is just like your baby! She’s really started to interact and we spend hours just cuddling and looking at each other. I love how she coos and giggles at me and when she wakes up she always gives me the biggest smile. I was struggling with a bit of PND but my meds are working so I can sleep now and actually enjoy my baby and I’ve never been so happy 🥰.

You know for lots of big, boring reasons I've been so sad this week.

This is just so nice, all these little moments of joy.

Thank you for sharing, love them all.

DS is a late walker and today he stood up all by himself for the first time without using anything to help him. The look of shock and pride on his face when he realised what he had done was blooming adorable. Grin

My 19 year old hulking teenager asked me to watch 5he footie with him this afternoon, and got me a beer off his own bat. So great to think that 20 years after he was conceived he's still making his mummy happy.

Sadly we got grubbed 2-0 but it was great to do something with him.

My 16 month old has just learned to say bath (well, 'baaff') and he says it like he's telling you the most important and glorious secret, so solemn and with his eyes all lit up. It's adorable.
