VW UP! replace with Suzuki Ignis...anyone done it?

So I need to upgrade my VW UP!
Really skinny driveway which requires narrow car. Just feel my UP! takes such a long time to wind up to 60 mph and so fancied a few more ccs. Has anyone driven both the UP! and the Suzuki Ignis and can make a side-by-side comparison. My DC said the Ignis was like a Granny Jeep. Previous to the up I had an Audi A2 and I really miss that.

Hi

I have a suzuki ignis, i have the 70 reg all grip model, it drives really well & im pleased with the space in it. Im not overly in love with the look of it! But i dont really like the look of suv's... it does look like a different car depending on which colour you get though!

What colour did you get Stealthy ? The one we have on offer is the white one.

I've got a red one 😄 i'm happy driving it, would recomend if looking for a small suv. I get approx 52-53mpg from the hybrid allgrip, so it's cheap to run. They definitely look like different cars depending on the colour - i think the blue looks terrible!

Mum5net · 14/06/2021 20:20

Yes, I wish the A2 was still available but after an hour or so watching YouTube vids I think I’ll go for the ignis. Future proofing has sold it to me. Higher up, easier to get in and out, hybrid. The horrid blue one is over £1000 cheaper but I also hate the colour.

Is your current Up 60 or 75ps?

I've got the 90ps Tsi & it's very nippy. The GTI is even more rapid...

Mum5net · 14/06/2021 21:54

Actually I didn’t know about those. Mine is the 75.... probably will bust my budget but off to explore

Funny you should mention blue. I was in an Audi dealership the other day as a mate was looking. I didn't see any car I didn't like, but the colour bright blue....eughhhhh. there were two models 40k and 60k both in it, what??? Made them look so cheap!

Sorry, no experience of the Suzuki.

I’m thinking of the allgrip @Stealthynamechange - how is it on corners and how supportive are the seats, those are my only concerns.

Thanks
