Wine fridge repair

I moved into a house with a wine fridge, which has just stopped working. The previous owners left no paperwork, but I imagine it's out of warranty. I've called four repair companies, and none of them repair wine fridges. I've contacted the manufacturer to see if they could give me any information. They gave me the name of a company ... who don't repair wine fridges!

Has anyone ever had a wine fridge repaired, and if so who by?!

Yes - we used a local man who repairs everything (can't remember what the fault was- maybe the motor?). Just googling wine fridge repairs seems to bring up plenty of results depending on where you live though

Thank you. I googled and contacted some of the companies but they all said they don't repair wine fridges, only 'normal' fridges ...

What is the difference between a wine fridge and a regular fridge though - as in the way it works vs the contents

They are often quite different - a wine fridge is designed to lower temperatures more slowly, maintain a higher and more exact temp and maintain a certain level of humidity that regular food fridges don't, as well as being more stable in terms of vibration. So it's understandable that someone might service one and not the other.
