My partner is 6'5"tall. He is struggling to find smart/casual trousers such chinos in the UK. He is a 34"waist and 36" leg with an sliim athletic build. Do you know of any shops online or stores?

My son was the same and found Jacamo (online) quite good but a bit baggy in the fit for a teen when everyone else was wearing skinnies. He finds Hugo Boss fit well but they are only for extra special wearings due to the cost ! He has found some jeans from Lands End Clothing that fit - hasn't tried the trousers/chinos but I know they do those too.

Next do an extra long leg which is 35" and have a huge range online, inc slim stretch chinos. With the current trend for trousers to sit on the shorter side it might be worth ordering some and seeing how they look

Lovely quality. My ds currently has a 35in inside leg, 34in waist & needs a high cotton content. I buy the black 100% cotton chinos for his school trousers & he says they are comfortable. Wash lovely although I wouldn't tumble dry. They look smart as well. I also buy his joggers here. Highly recommend.

Tesco have some nice chinos in stock currently and they do waist and leg length. I know they do 34" leg and perhaps they also have 36?

My so. Is 6ft 4 and a 32 waist. His smarter trousers come from Next in the ‘long size’ they sometimes have to order in but it’s only 24hours. His jeans are Jack Wills at the moment, he wears black smart ones for work .

Fat Face- and they tend to do the same styles but updated year after year. So if you find a style that suits, you can feel confident online.

You can strike lucky inM&S. My 6'4" son with 32" waist and 36" inside waist is currently wearing slim fit 34" leg chinos from M&S and they fit beautifully. Mostly he buys from TKMaxx as he is a brand bunny but skint.

My DH is 6ft 4 and 32" waist, 36" inside leg. He gets trousers/jeans from Lands End and sometimes Brook Tavener who do a 37" unfinished which you can hem yourself or use Wonderweb

Also recommend 2Tall. My son is 6’6.

My ds is 6'3" but often finds the 35" leg length too short because he has very long legs. Plus if they shrink 1/2" in the wash, that's a problem as well.

I second Gap. Also M&S but you often have to order the 36" leg as they don't tend to keep them in store.

Cotton Traders do at least 35" inside leg, I'm sure I've seen 36" as well.
