Groove is in the heart - Deelite

waterlego · 13/06/2021 07:46

Groove is in the Heart, Deee-Lite
It’s Not Unusual, Tom Jones

And for a bit of 90s club music, Born Slippy would defo get me on the dance floor but might not appeal so much to the older guests.

waterlego · 13/06/2021 07:47

Oh! Crossed post. My daughter and I were dancing to Groove is in the Heart in the garden yesterday evening so it was fresh in my mind. Great minds think alike 😀

Sparklingbrook · 13/06/2021 07:48

Blimey a lot of my least favourite songs are coming up on here Grin. Number one least favourite being Come on Eileen followed by Love Shack.

I would probably put Living on a Prayer though.

Pinkypink · 13/06/2021 07:52

Cmon Eileen was a great choice. Love it.
And the imagery of men with ties round their heads for don't stop me now made me really laugh thank you @Serpenta

Paleodiet · 13/06/2021 07:52

Hi Ho Silver Lining by Jeff Beck. 1967, so extremely old but always gets people up and has them joining in with the chorus.

KihoBebiluPute · 13/06/2021 07:53

It's Raining Men by the weather girls

DinosaurDiana · 13/06/2021 07:54

Salt n Pepa - Push It

MaloInAnAppleTree · 13/06/2021 07:57

My all time fave floor filler is Tainted Love (version by Soft Cell) but it’s not really wedding-appropriate.

Providora · 13/06/2021 07:57

Praise You
Buffalo Stance
Blister in the Sun
Uptown Funk

Staying alive

Ughmaybenot · 13/06/2021 08:00

There’s some cracking wedding-cheese suggested here Grin

I’ve had three of these in the last week, we went for;
Am I drinking enough - Mad Dog Mcrea
Born slippy - underworld
We like to party - vengaboys (the cheesiest ever, but it’s so fun… find me a party that doesn’t love it 🤷🏼‍♀️)

Mumsgirls · 13/06/2021 08:02

Reet Petite
Oops upside your head
All the single ladies
I will survive
Build me up buttercup
Fashion
Needle in a haystack
( totally giving advanced age away)

Iremembertheelderlykoreanlady · 13/06/2021 08:03

Run around Sue by....someone?

BokehBabe · 13/06/2021 08:03

Young Hearts - Candi Staton

(But I'm cynical)

massistar · 13/06/2021 08:08

Young Hearts Run Free - Candi Staton
Jump Around - House of Pain
A Message to you Rudy - The Specials
Ever Fallen In Love - Buzzcocks
Walls Come Tumbling Down - Style Council
Atomic - Blondie
Hooked On A Feeling

Would love to go to a good wedding for a boogie!
