Building and Selling PC's

My son has been building PCs and selling them on Ebay and privately.

Please can someone advise whether he needs to offer a warranty, and whether he needs to be covered by any sort of insurance?

He seems to think not, but I am not sure.

I built my own pc. The warranty lies with the parts themselves, if something breaks you have to contact the manufacturer of that specific part. I assume he’s just charging for the parts + the labour of assembling them, it’s not like he’s actually manufacturing anything!
