I need a new day planner/mid year diary

I stick with my bullet journal in my trusted Leuchturm.

TheTruthAndNothingButTheTruth · 11/06/2021 22:44

I love the idea of Bullet journals but I know I'd spend too much time making it pretty and not enough time doing the stuff I meant to do!

Hobonichi diaries are my favourite but they are pricey and they only start in either April or January. The weeks is the best small size planner and I have an A5 Cousin for work which is a daily, weekly and monthly planner in one book.

Otherwise an 18 month moleskine, I like a left hand weekly diary page and the right hand side for notes.

Just looking
Too pricey though i got some on my birthday

Papier ones are beautiful, I've just bought my second for me and have bought them for lots of people as gifts this year. You can get good discounts with 'recommend a friend' too.

BookShark · 12/06/2021 00:21

Personalplanner.com (sorry, can't link for some reason). Perfect compromise between a bullet journal and a diary, and you can customise to your heart's content!

LadyofMisrule · 12/06/2021 08:36

I always go with orange circle studio. They are the only ones with enough sections for me, Partner and 4 children.

LeroyJenkinssss · 12/06/2021 09:00

@BookShark thank you for suggesting that - I’ve never seen one that allows you to customise it so much.

Kabloom · 12/06/2021 09:07

www.coventgarden.com/listings/kikki-k/ This shop is great but it looks like shipping is from Australia since Brexit. I usually buy from the shop as I pass often and they have loads of offers.

TheTruthAndNothingButTheTruth · 12/06/2021 10:00

Thanks everyone! The customised one looks awesome.

I need stationery friends!

Im tempted to order personalised paper even though I don't think anyine would want letters!

Loubiemoo · 12/06/2021 22:47

I bought an 18 month Busy Bee diary last month.

BookShark · 12/06/2021 22:52

Oh, I'm glad you're liking the personal planner one. I really rate it (actually found it via Mumsnet!) and have had several over the last few years. I should really start asking for commission, but until then, please check it out!!

Londonmummy66 · 12/06/2021 23:05

I'm another fan of the Moleskine planners with a week on one side and notes on the other. you can get them in a reasonable range of colours and have something embossed on the front - I usually go for my email address...

Ostara212 · 13/06/2021 00:03

I have a very practical diary

I just really love pretty stationery. I've done a photo board for my wall and separated out the photos with washi tape.

Verbena87 · 13/06/2021 00:10

I use a Filofax with my own inserts and really like it.

Do you mean you make the inserts? That's a cool idea.
ScouseQueen · 13/06/2021 10:29

Spotlight Stationery do lovely subscription boxes where you get a nice mix of notebooks, pens etc on a design theme. Look on the website and you'll see some examples.

Twitchynose · 13/06/2021 13:38

I’ve got this undated 6 month one, it’s amazing , beautifully boxed but thicker than I expected! amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07MQ191SH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1]]

Ostara212 · 13/06/2021 13:46

Twitchy I can only see a charity link?

Twitchynose · 13/06/2021 17:17

Oops, sorry about that - hopefully this one works!
