If I really love the 90’s Pride and Prejudice series, what else might I like?

I need something to binge. I’ve got Netflix, Amazon Prime and some Sky channels and On Demand stuff through Virgin Media.

Any suggestions?

That version of P&P is my ultimate comfort viewing, but when things get really bad, it’s accompanied by North and South, Emma Thompson’s S&S, and the Jane Eyre from about 2005.

And then when things get tough I read Jane Eyre and P&P.

Does anyone like the Catherine Cookson films usually on the drama channel on Sunday afternoon. My guilty pleasure with a glass or shiraz

Persuasion, the Sally Hawkins version.

Love and Friendship is good.

I quite like the Greer Larson Pride and Prejudice version even if it doesn't stick to the plot in bits. It's better than the recent film anyway!

I couldn't get into Bridgerton at all, it was funny in bits but Phoebe (?) was like a hen left out in the rain.

Much Ado about Nothing and Henry 5th with Kenneth Branagh

The only thing that's actually on Netflix that I can think of is Lupin, but make sure you keep the French voices and use English subtitles.

Some great ideas here.
Cranford is really good
A Very English Scandal is fab if you don't mind a mid 20th century period drama

Howard's End from the 90s is just wonderful

I second Persuasion, all versions I have seen were really good.
Also love Jane Eyre with Ruth Wilson.
