I've just seen an orthodontist about starting Invisalign treatment, for my upper and lower teeth plus extraction of one tooth. Looking at approx. £4,250 total costs which is roughly what I'd expected.
Did others find it worth it? I'm not against wearing train tracks, if it's easier day to day but I think I can be disciplined about wearing the aligner 22 hours a day. The only problem will be breaking my constant tea drinking habit that I've developed working from home.
Also, once treatment is finished and you switch to nightly retainers how much do they cost? This was mentioned at the end of the consultation but I got distracted looking at the alarming 3D image of my own teeth! I vaguely remember a figure of £250, does that sound about right?
