Hi, I have noticed I have been getting pins and needles in my left hand. It comes and goes throughout the day. But I am concerned. Has anybody experienced this and knows what it is???? I am making a drs app next week to see what they say.
Thanks.

Carpal tunnel?

sueelleker · 11/06/2021 15:34

My first thought. I kept getting pins and needles at night-at first I thought I'd been sleeping on my hand.

If it's carpal tunnel the pins and needles won't be in your little finger or the outside of your third finger. I know this because I'm being investigated for similar; a nerve conduction study has ruled out carpal tunnel so now I'm freaking out and doom googling. Speak to your Dr.

I sometimes wake up with pins and needles in both hands and I haven't been laying on them. No idea why but I suspect circulation issues.

If it's one hand then maybe Carole tunnel. Do you anything that would give you RSI?

Getting my wedding ring made bigger solved my similar issues Blush

Are you using your phone a lot? I find that gives me tingly fingers, pins and needles. It's an unnatural position to hold your hand in for a long time. I massively cut down on phone use and it went away eventually.

Look up ulnar nerve issues. I get this sometimes cause the way I sleep inflames my elbow.
[obviously also see a medical practitioner]

I have this in my right hand along with pain in my elbow and shoulder. Apparently it's due to nerve problems in my neck.

I recently went to the doctors for pins and needles/ shaking in my hands among other things and was diagnosed with pernicious anemia. No pins and needles since starting b12 injections

Low B12 caused mine.

I get pins and needles on my left shoulder blade when I need more
