Anyone got a Meaco fan?

Just that really, plus would you recommend it?

The attic rooms get very stuffy and we currently have a bog standard cheap fan, which does the job but is very noisy.

DH mentioned buying a Dyson thing that costs a small fortune, but a bit of googling led me to the Meaco air circulator for a faction of the price.

It's £100 so still not cheap - do you have one and is it worth the money? Is it actually quiet?

Yes we have two. A small one and a large one. They are both good, not very noisy and the big one can oscillate side to side and up and down and has a remote control

I am lying in bed right now with my meaco fan whirring around. I love the remote control and it also has a timer. Quieter than other fans I have had, the big one is quite big and it isn’t the most attractive thing but does a great job and cheaper than the dyson.

My Dh did a lot of research as we have eaves bedrooms that are boiling in the summer. The meaco was sold out for ages last year because it is soooo good and a fraction of the cost of the Dyson. It is super quiet and the top speed of 12 is very blowy!

I would save my meaco fan from a burning building, it's that good

I'm the sort of person that has a fan on me all the time and I love my Meaco. I got it last year from Costco for £70-80ish and I wouldn't be without it.
I've got this one I think.

(I’m dubious of Dyson anything being better by the way as was v unimpressed with vacuum which was not a patch on other premium brands).

We have three-they are bloody brilliant. I bought a Dyson first but returned it as it was rubbish-so noisy and didn’t actually do any fanning unless it was on the highest (really noisy) setting.

Even the child with misophonia doesn’t moan about the Maeco fan!
