Has anyone been recently to the park and/or main hotel?
If so, what were the queues like in the park? Did people social distance etc?
Thinking of going soon, but wondering if we're better waiting until later in the year...

Can't tell you about queues etc but there was a good deal on Holiday Pirates today.

We've been recently to CBeebies hotel and the main park. We found once you get in the park there is not much social distancing. AT have put in measures but people don't really keep to it. Moderate queuing.

Went on Tuesday, I didn't pay for fast passes as I'm a tightwad. The queueing was 45-60 mins for the main rides. We enjoyed it, I thought there was quite a lot of space.

We went on the first weekend in May.
Queues were about an hour each for the main rides.
Not much social distancing although some rides did have seats taped up to allow for some distancing.
We saw gallactica being wiped down after the people before us got off.

Basically, lots and lots of people.

Great thanks everyone. DH is nervous about the lack of social distancing..

We found Alton Towers far better than Thorpe Park when we went.
Nobody paid any attention to keeping distance at Thorpe Park at all however Alton Towers did have enforced one way sections and would totally shut queues for rides if there were too many people.
Alton Towers is a lot bigger than the cramped Thorpe Park though.
