Does anyone remember this times table toy?

I'm looking for something my sister had - probably c.2000 - an electronic toy that sang times tables and also had a quiz mode. In my head it was tubular, orange and about the size of a large torch. We didn't live in the UK so it may not have been sold here, could have come from Australia/NZ or the US instead?

The nearest thing I can find are the tubos pitogaricos as they're about the right size and shape, but they seem to be mechanical and I SWEAR this was an electronic toy. The sort of thing vtech make.

DSis claims to have no idea what I'm talking about, and Google's coming up with nothing. Did I hallucinate this!? If not I'd love to find one as I reckon DS would love it...

I grew up in the 1980s in South Africa and we had a similar thing called a Mr Professor which was an American made toy that looked like a calculator. I’ll try link a link to a picture. Have you looked on Pinterest at pictures of “Australian toys from the 80s” or similar?
