Does anyone else need a ‘get on with it!’ Thread today?

After starting a new job in the past few weeks, I’ve let things really slide.
My house is a mess and I’m determined to spend today and tomorrow tidying, throwing and cleaning. Anyone else?

Yes! I’ve got a load of tedious admin I need to sort out. Currently I’m procrastinating.

Yes me! My house is a tip, and loads of papers and admin stuff has piled up too. I have 5 hours to myself today and I’m going to crack on and tackle lots done, hopefully finishing with a trip to the tip on the school run 💪

I just don’t know where to start!
There’s so much to do.
I suppose I should put some laundry on first then dining table (half of it has turned into a dumping ground)
Then, living room and hallway.

Me me me! I have family arriving tomorrow. I have a mountain of (thankfully clean) washing to sort and put away.
I need to declutter the living room, mop the kitchen floor, make sure my mini human's room is fir for her cousins to go up there and clean the hamster cage.

So I'm sitting trawling mumsnet of course...

*fit for her cousins. Damn fat thumbs

I need one every day!

Me! Also started a new job in the last 2 weeks and I’m also unwell. Things are ok tidy wise, but the kitchen and bathroom need a good clean and I’ve got so much laundry to out away, lawns to cut, weeds to pull...

I haven’t done as much as I thought I would have. It might be because I gave myself a deadline of tomorrow
I have done
One laundry load. Hung up to dry.
Tidied and put a few things away.
Thrown out some stuff and filled a bag of old clothes and shoes to chick into the supermarket recycling bin.
I shall take the bag now while I do a quick shop and back for the school run.

Me! Day off and Still in pjs, loads to do!
