It's a "would you eat this chicken" one

Cooked a chicken breast last night to make a chicken salad for my lunch at work today. Left it on the side to cool before I put it in the fridge, of course I forgot all about it and it's been out on the side all night. Would you eat it?

Yes I would

Crunchymum · 10/06/2021 06:41

I wouldn't as it's been quite warm here (plus my kitty would have been at any chicken left out)

CaptainBarbossa · 10/06/2021 06:43

No I wouldn't

Yes, absolutely.

It wouldn't even occur to me to throw it away!

Uncovered? No, I wouodnt.

BertieBotts · 10/06/2021 06:51

Yes. What do you think people did before fridges?

CupoTeap · 10/06/2021 06:51

In this weather I wouldn't but when it's cooler I would

justanotherneighinparadise · 10/06/2021 06:53

I probably would.

Bagelsandbrie · 10/06/2021 06:57

Hell no. Especially as weather has been so hot.

legotruck · 10/06/2021 06:58

@BertieBotts

Yes. What do you think people did before fridges?

A combination of using all the chicken up, preserving the meat and potentially getting a bit sick?

prettyvisitor · 10/06/2021 06:59

Not in this weather but when it's cooler I would.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 10/06/2021 07:16

@DancesWithDaffodils

Uncovered? No, I wouodnt.
It is wrapped in foil.

Ok, mixed responses here! Thanks all.

Nope

MiaMc · 10/06/2021 07:26

Absolutely not. Perfect temperatures for any bacteria to multiply.

LeopardHawk · 10/06/2021 07:28

Definitely not. It was 24 degrees overnight here. I still wouldn't if it was 14 degrees.

PixieDust28 · 10/06/2021 07:28

No I wouldn't risk it.

Arbadacarba · 10/06/2021 07:35

Not in this weather. I would in winter, though.

blahblahblah321 · 10/06/2021 07:36

I probably would if it was wrapped - I'd worry about flies etc landing on it

TheCatsHaveEyes · 10/06/2021 07:40

I wouldn’t op sorry

4PawsGood · 10/06/2021 07:42

I think flies would be the least of your worries, minging as they are.

I think it’s too warm, sorry.

user1471538283 · 10/06/2021 07:43

I wouldn't but then I have a very sensitive tummy. My DF would have!

name8793 · 10/06/2021 07:44

My house has been 25C all week, I wouldn't.

Theweedonkeeey · 10/06/2021 07:45

No. This is gods way of telling you to go to a nice coffee shop for lunch instead

lovelyupnorth · 10/06/2021 07:45

I would but then also live in a barn conversion which is always cool

RaininSummer · 10/06/2021 07:48

I play fast and loose with food dates all the time but I wouldn't risk being very ill for a small piece of chicken.
