Hi everyone. First time poster here. My son is 11 and has had a fairly smooth journey through school with no issues in his friendships. Now at the minute his two best friends have started hanging around with a few girls and the girls have created a secret group with his two friends which my son is left out of. He’s just getting on with it, but I can tell he’s hurt. We’ve had lots of chats and we have open communication where he can come to me anytime. They do still play together but when it’s secret group time that stops. I feel so bad for him. Has anyone been through anything similar? He is 10 months younger than them so I think that they may be at that stage where hanging round with girls is cool, and they’re not leaving him out to be spiteful they’re just excited to be talking to girls.
