Can you help me identify this book?

Early 2000’s I believe. The story is based in Dublin, a woman discovers her husband is having an affair with a younger woman. Instead of confronting him, she finds out more about the affair by befriending the other woman. She follows them to Paris with her best mate (who I am sure is called Sylvia) and her mother is a strong character in the story.

She ends up having empathy for the other woman, as she gets treated badly by him too.

The husband works in art if I remember and the other woman is a beauty therapist.

I am sure the book had a yellow cover too. I really want to read it again - can any one help??

Sounds like a Marian Keyes one, but I can't remember which.

It’s not Marion Keyes I’m afraid.

Her husbands mistake? I think she goes to stay with her mum in that

No afraid not.

It’s got a bit of an under current of humour. She travels to Paris to catch her husband and the other woman on a weekend together...he works in the art world and is really pretentious
