Night out in Manchester

Evening all. I have a night out planned, for a week on Friday, in Manchester city centre. Are we being told that we can't go? I can't find anything online, and need to cancel the hotel. Tia

Depends where you are from lovely. I’m from just outside Manchester and have a night out next Friday planned. Everything is still open bar and restaurant wise. No restrictions currently for my area.

I'm from near Chester, and with the rise in cases, in Greater Manchester. It does seem ridiculous to go.....I just want a load of random strangers, on the internet, to tell me I'm mad to goGrin

You're fine to go. We've got a few nights booked in Manchester the week after, no intention of cancelling.

Just had a beer, and chilled out, and decided that I'm definitely not going. As my sister said, wait until it's less virusy....Grin

We'd booked this weekend away in Manchester to use up vouchers from previously cancelled airport hotel bookings (holiday cancelled lockdown 1)
We're still going. I've had both doses of vaccine and DH has had one so we're going for it. I think the hospitality industry needs all the help of can get.
