Accounts admin is it easy to learn?

I need to work 1 extra day a week and have come across a perfect one locally they need someone 1 day a week to do asmin and says accounts and wages admin desired.

You will need to learn their software and accept if you do something wrong it's on your head and the consequences can be severe where HMRC are concerned.
It also depends on what kind of business it is and how many employees. There is a lot to understand, but how much varies from a simple sole trader with one part time employee or a limited company with ten full time employees.
I do all my own but I have learned as I go along. VAT and payroll are not easy at all.

I am an accounting assistant and the job can vary from place to place. You could just be inputting numbers into spreadsheets or you could be interacting with HMRC on a regular basis. Usually the bigger the company the more 'admin only' the role becomes.
If it's a small company usually you are doing the work more of an accountant with less pay!
