Booked a birthday party at soft play but need a back up!

I booked dds 5th birthday party at the local soft play. She is SO excited and we gave invites out on Monday.
But now I’m worrying it won’t happen! We need a back up, im thinking in our garden? A bouncy castle maybe? But then what else? We have a medium sized garden. Pass the parcel? What about food? Argh!

Sausage rolls, sandwiches, crisps and a little cup cake each. Don’t stress about food, they won’t starve and they will be busy playing anyway.

Treasure hunt, dressing up clothes, Musical statues?

Some game ideas here

How many kids? Do it in the garden, buy food boxes from Amazon or eBay - sandwich, Pom bears, cucumber sticks, mini haribo sand a cupcake. Bigger cupcake with candles for the birthday girl to blow out. Water and squash in hugs that they can help themselves to.

Loads of balloons, pass the parcel and some water pistols if hot, and a gazebo / shade.

I've done loads of parties over the years they will always always play with balloons.

Oh and not a bouncy castle it's always a recipient for an injury of some sort.

Face painting
Old school games - pass the parcel, musical chairs, musical statues
Music on
Make it fancy dress? Kids go wild for it.

I agree bouncy castles always end up with an injury
