breast cancer question

My mum has a lump and her appt is today after her biopsy 2 weeks ago

If it was benign would they say over the phone ?

They called the check she remembered

I feel sick

Hi @TerryOrange, I wouldn't imagine they will tell you anything over the phone as usually it's receptionists making the calls. I do hope it's good news for your Mum. I've been there and know the waiting is the worst.
Be assured I'm sure you'll get the best care should the results be positive, I can't fault by care and am now about to get my 5 year mammogram this week and being discharged. Happy if you need to talk for you to pm me. Hugs to you all x

No they won’t say over the phone. I had to schlep all the way to the hospital, wait in the clinic for 20 minutes, all for an appointment that lasted about 90 seconds to give me the all clear. Obviously I’m thankful, but it was quite bemusing that I took two hours out of my working week, paid £3 in parking, and was exposed to other people all for such a short appointment.
