Working for a small charity

How does it work with pensions, maternity leave? It’s a very small charity with fewer than 11 employees so I’m worried about there being no meaningful benefits / perks / HR policies.

They should have policies in place eg financial policies.
Holidays/ sick pay/ maternity leave are likely to be the statutory requirements, and they should automatically enroll people onto a pension if they earn a certain amount, or ask them if they want to opt in.

I manage a small charity (and I mean tiny). Staff are enrolled on a pension scheme and are entitled to all statutory benefits including holidays, sick pay and maternity leave. However very small organisations don’t tend to do ‘perks’ such as subsidised travel or private healthcare.
