It's almost like they don't want to know

Our GP surgery have put out a questionnaire asking for feedback on service during Covid and proposed changes going forward.

The survey takes the form of a word document on their website, which you have to complete, save to your own device and email back.

Every other organisation seems to do this in a much more user friendly way that encourages responses. This almost seems designed to discourage responses.

If you're someone who cwould compete a survey like this if it could be done in a couple of clicks, would you bother in this instance?

It also means feedback can't be given anonymously. Is this a good or a bad thing?

Wouldn't phase me on the least. If I wanted it to be anonymous I would print and hand deliver it.

Anon feedback can lead to abuse; I'm in favour of feedback from people willing to own their comments. Named-feedback also allows for followups to clarify what people meant, get to specifics if there is possible malpractice being alleged.

Email is a challenge for some people, though, would be nice if items could be uploaded or given via webpage.

For example, I can't do it on my phone, it says it's not possible to edit the word document. So I need log on to my lap top, which lots of people won't have. I'm prepared to accept that it's because I don't know how to edit the document, but if that's the case, I won't be the only one.

I entirely get what you’re saying. There should be options so everyone can give their feedback.
