Whats best, Dyson v11 animal cordless vacuum or a shark?

Dont have any animals but the v11 is cheaper in the animal version

Dh fancies getting a cordless shark but i have no experience of them

We currently have a cordless v7 Dyson which is knackered

Anyone got a recommendation?

We have the Dyson and it's fantastic. Love how it works on carpet and the kitchen tiles no bother.

I am a housekeeper. Used most hoovers. When it came to the point where I had to buy one I bought the animal shark one. Miles better than others. And their customer service is amazing

We've always had a dyson, but we just invested in our first shark hoover and I'd never go back now!

Bought a dyson - gave it away because I hated it so much.

Bought a shark - love it.

We have a Shark Pet Duo and I flippin' love it. So disgusting what it picks up and really easy to clean the filters and all the bits and bobs. Give the filter a clean every 6 months and it's like a new vacuum again.

God not a Shark - or at least don't bother with a cordless one. I despise mine. Spits grit out, clogs within five minutes. I spend more time unblocking in than hoovering. It's the bane of my life and does not live up to the hype but was so expensive I'm stuck with the bugger. I grumble about it to DH every single day Grin.

However, I hear better things about the corded ones so depends on the model!

I should add that my Shark Pet Duo is corded. My mum has a similar Shark vacuum but it's cordless. Still good but I don't rate it nearly as high as my corded Shark.

I HATE my dyson ...& that was before Brexit! Bloody thing is so heavy , always falling over. It's just crap. Can't wait til it dies
