Apple Watch - what does it do that a Fitbit doesn’t?

Anyone want to talk me through it? Considering getting one but can’t decide if they are worth the money or not.

They brilliant - have all apps on the so can read text messages/emails/answer phone calls, can also reply to messages etc etc basically anything you use your phone for! Also can set timers, reminders and things like that.

You can get apps on them that can be useful. I use Find Friends on mine to keep track of DD.
You can use them to pay for stuff and send messages etc.

I'm not sure what fitbits can do so I'm probably not much help. Grin

I swapped my Fitbit for an Apple Watch basically for the inbuilt GPS. I'm guessing there's fitbits with gps, but mine didn't, and I wanted it for running stats/mapping.

Now I have it, I also like that it's got all the apps from my phone on it. I can send and receive texts, I can take calls. That's both brilliant and horrific. I can see people calling me while I'm out running and I don't really like being contactable!

Hoping to find some inspiration because I've had an Apple Watch for a few months now and only using it to tell the time, use timers and the gentle wake up it gives.
