Just wondered who is buying them and where are they being used.

I live in London and there is shop near me that is dedicated to their sale. But it’s illegal to use them on roads or footpaths - you can only use them on private land.

Here there are loads of people using them. On the paths, cycle paths and on the roads. They weave in and out of the old people, people with buggies and the traffic on the roads. They are a bloody nuisance IMHO.

It’s interesting - I see them around too - and I wonder if people might not realise they are illegal?

All the chavs and drug dealers are using them.

No but the young teen in my cup de sac has one. He nearly took me out on the way to work the other morning

Many many cities now have trials but they’re only legal if hired as part of a scheme.
They are all over the place where I am but I don’t know anyone that actually owns one nor have I seen a shop. If you have a massive country pile I suppose it would be perfectly legal to scoot around there on them. Surprised that shops are selling (if they indeed are).

I see them a fair bit on the street. Not been a nuisance (yet)

A teenager was riding one in the bloody busy main road today with his I presume little brother standing in front. Fucking stupid and a disaster waiting to happen.
