Pink discharge/tiny bit of blood in middle of cycle, so panicked

What is this? I have had sexual health screenings but I get this pinkish discharge like blood mixed with discharge. I’m so worried something is wrong and want to ttc soon. I’ve had tests for sti all negative.

It's normal...it's caused by a tiny bleed which happens when the cyst containing a ripened egg bursts ie; when you ovulate.

I don’t think I was ovulating though as I’ve been tracking it? It’s also never happened before I’m so worried it is something sinister

It doesn't happen every time - it's fairly random. It's perfectly normal.

I had something similar and it turned out to be a benign polyp which has since disappeared.

With all due respect and with much kindness, no-one on MN can diagnose you over a screen - it could be any number of things . Can you make an appointment to see your GP to put your mind at ease?

If you're mid cycle it could definitely be an ovulation bleed.
It's only usually a few spots, nothing heavy.
I get it every month.
