Need kids trousers long with small waist, help!

Hello, have an issue with a 5 year old who is v tall (in 7 years age clothes or above), but skinny waist.

Any trousers tall/long enough are falling down a bit due to smaller waist.

Anyone found any trousers that are long but still fit a small waist, for this kind of age range please?

I've found going down a size but buying extra long at m&s is a good strategy as the waist then fits and the 'extra long' makes them like normal trousers in their size.

H&m are the best bet and buy them with the adjustable waist. They looked tiny on the hanger but I still have to pull the adjustment all the way in for DS. He is 9 and was wearing has age 4 boden baggies today which now just look like shorts.

Asda do longer length trousers online.

For school trousers next and M&S do slim fit ranges.

I have to sew leggings often for Dd's they're not particularly tall but find there often too large around the waist.

H&M and Sainsbury's seem to be on the slimmer side.

This is EXACTLY what I got for my tall, skinny girls' school trousers.

I have always had this issue with my dcs. Good tip

Matalan have decent trousers, I buy a bigger size for length but they have button on the inside which you can fasten according to how tight you want the waist x

NEXT everytime. Loads of their trousers have the adjustable waist bands.

Next for us too.

Next skinny jeans are a good fit on my tall skinny child when adjusted.

For school trousers M and S extra long length … measure him though and work out what age you need … my son is in the size for 2 years younger extra long .

Jeans and joggers … skinny or super skinny Tui or Next are pretty good
