Is this left over hormone from DD or a new pregnancy?!

Shamelessly posting here. I had sex exactly 6 days ago this evening. Haven't had sex for weeks before that as haven't been well. Last period was 10th May, cycles usually every 35/36 days and I ovulate fairly late into my cycles (I know them well)

I have just got a very faint but clearly positive result. Pink lines.

Is this a positive result and I'm 5/6 DPO?

OR

Left over pregnancy hormone from DD's arrival in January?

I think it's safe to say you're pregnant!

If you’re had periods since DD (and she was born several months ago!) it will be a new pregnancy, or a random false positive. Hope this is good news

Hmm, maybe a false positive then?! As far as I know, from endless TTC life, even a BFP at 8DPO is fairly rare and the earliest

DD sadly died. We would be over the moon to have another baby so quickly

Thank you, I don't think it's actually possible to get a positive this quickly so suspicious and trying to prepare myself that for whatever reason, I'm not pregnant

It would be amazing though. I took the test as I've been feeling very 'irritable' and easily pissed off. My first sign of pregnant with DD

There's no way that's from DD, I'm sorry for your loss, too long ago hormone-wise. False positive or BFP

The test is just a cheapie strip test I have always found them super sensitive though

Yes. Usual flow, heavy for first 2 days, medium for the 3rd and the light spotting before it vanished completely
