Small gift idea for friends party

Good morning,

We've been invited to an evening at friends of my DH - I'm do not know the couple particularly well nor another couple that are invited.

I'd like to take something thoughtful along as a gift but struggling. Thinking a pre made cocktail? Or a decent bottle of fizz or something to drink that's a bit 'out there'. Or just a simple bunch of flowers? I'm not much of a baker unfortunately so that isn't an option. Any inspiration/ideas welcome please?

I think the bottle of fizz is the way to go.
Bottles of spirit or cocktails from naice independent shops often look nice but aren't to many peoples taste.
You don't know them well so go with a crowd pleaser.

Bottle of pink Prosecco and a bunch of peonies?
