Is this hayfever??

I've never suffered from hayfever, but today I've been to the zoo and on the way home my eyes started watering. It's got worse and worse over the last few hours to the point where my eyes are itchy and streaming and my nose is running like a tap. I'm actually finding it really difficult to function!
Is this hayfever? Am I allergic to the zoo? Is that even a thing??? Has anyone ever had hayfever appear out of nowhere before?

Get a covid PCR test. Lots of people are reporting bay fever like symptoms with the new strain. Especially seeming more hay fever like if you’ve had a vaccine or two

It could be hay fever. I had mild hay fever but then it suddenly got worse out of nowhere. Can’t even go outside now without my eyes becoming puffy and streaming to the point where I can’t see within minutes. (Without an antihistamine that is)

Sounds like an allergic reaction. Could be to pollen or something at the zoo. Try taking a Piriton & see if it calms it down.

Sounds v similar to hay fever

I've had it for years but the last couple of years it's been v mild. The cheapest supermarket own brand pills have always worked in the past, some others are quite expensive

Take one first thing when you get up throughout the Summer

Thanks everyone. I've taken a piriton and hopefully that will do the trick! So weird it literally came out of nowhere!! At first I thought I just had suncream in my eye!
