What's everyone up to today?

My friend called at 9am to pick something up so I've been doing housework/garden stuff since about then. I've done three loads of washing, & hung it out, thanks to the quickest thing to mop up after the cistern fell off the wall being towels 🙄 I'm considering stripping the settee covers for a wash too, but might wait 'til tomorrow.

The girls are watching Minecrafters on youtube together (rare these days) & I'm just sitting down for a couple of hours with my crochet project.

Curry for tea, accompanied by a glass of wine for me.

Dc have a party so plan to have a nice lunch (garlic chicken) and some planting in the garden. House is clean as was off yesterday. Have some clothes to sort and a bit of paperwork for my job.

We’ve been for a bike ride. DS is playing Minecraft until MIL arrives for lunch.

DH is obsessed with cooking venison at the moment so we’re having a roast

I’m enjoying the fact that a Friday-Friday holiday rental means we did most of the post-holiday sorting yesterday.

I've been playing Nintendo. Im going to laze about and watch TV or read my book.

Just finished deep clean of the kitchen now made the mistake of sitting down 😅kids r watching u tube too.

Done a couple of loads of washing its now blowing away outside dish washer on were having a cup of tea slice of cake and a bit of tv now. Lots to do around the house but I'm exhausted

Took DS to his hobby this morning, then did a food shop. Taking advantage of the sun by doing a lot of washing! I can't really sit out in it as I'm incredibly fair skinned - I got burnt on Tuesday after just 20 minutes outdoors without sun cream on. So I'm hiding indoors watching a box set! We are having a quiet weekend as we just got back from a holiday in Somerset yesterday.

My son had a friend over for the first time today so the flat is an absolute bomb site, oh well.

I’ve managed to injure myself so I’m having to sit out a match today, so I’m annoyed by that.

Me and my husband are doing the float in cinema and booked a boat rather than a deck chair, I wasn’t told until this morning that the film is Mamma mia, would it be wrong to take a book with me?

Up at 5.30 as I was in so much pain - off to the docs on Monday. I had a bone density scan recently & was told I didn’t have osteoporosis but that there was something in my back that could develop into it if I wasn’t careful. Hate this menopause business! DM has osteoporosis so I already knew I would need to put measures in place. My tummy isn’t right either & I have only just fancied something to eat. Had a snack & will make lunch when DD12 has finished baking cupcakes to take to school. Complete change in the weather. Yesterday we were on the beach but today is overcast & quite cold. So I will probably catch up on housework this aft. You can write your name in the dust on my piano! Also got loads of washing to sort & put away. DH has said he will blitz the bathroom which is way overdue for a proper clean. I have been to Asda for a top up shop. Needed a few bits for a picnic at my folks’ place tomorrow. Easy tea of pasta, pesto & peas then rubbish tv or we might watch a movie. I have a lovely Chardonnay chilling.

I was up early doing taximum duties... not feeling great, lying on the bed.

I was up at 6 collecting aphids from my nasturtiums. Then I did some housework. It's a beautiful sunny day.
DS is reading, DD does uni work, DH - finally - has decided to buy himself a pair of shoes.

Having a chilled day with my two daughters (4 and 3 months).
DH is running around with eldest step-daughter who has just collected her first car so they’ve gone out for a drive.
In-Laws are coming over shortly for a cuppa.
No idea what’s for dinner. Not like me to be so unorganised but after a fair bit of stress lately I’m just enjoying being relaxed in the sun. 😎

We went for a supposedly two hour walk at 8.30 this morning but somehow got the directions wrong and came back after an hour. I have done three loads of washing as I’m very behind and pottered doing a bit of housework but nothing too stressful. DH and DS have gone for a haircut. We are having steak tonight.

Took my son to football training this morning, DH took daughter to dancing.
Packed a picnic of random fridge bits and some beers and have been sat at the beach since! It's bliss, love where we live! Should head off soon....
Ordering take away for tea and dropping my son to a sleepover at 7.

Having a pretty chilled day, went to aldi and Asda for the food shop and some cheap aldi baileys for me, I'm on holiday next week. Chatted to my elderly neighbour who came in for a coffee. Not much else, probably have something easy for tea and a glass of wine and some crappy TV

The beach?! Is it nice elsewhere?

The weather is horrendous here so I'm just wandering around my house while DS plays with his toys. Anything indoors was fully booked and I don't fancy getting soaked on a walk, so here we are!

Might make cocktails a bit later with DH to try and make something fun of the day, along with a tasty dinner.

Lots of volunteering, life admin, birthday gift shopping, sitting in sun at moment.
About to cycle somewhere with sullen teenager (I hope not so sullen).

Will probably stick pins in eyeballs rather than do actual housework.

Been to Tesco this morning. Then did two loads of washing and put on line. Went for a walk with youngest ds then did my workout. Just had a huge bowl of ice cream 😁as having a day off my diet. Kids all on devices now. Pizza for dinner and wine for me

DH had his second Covid jab this morning so he's asleep on the sofa. I've been weeding and just sat down for a rest as the sun has gone in.
Watched F1 qualifying, made some soup, tidied up a bit. Generally just mooching around.

DS is on his PS4 as he has end of half term bored of everything. Back to school on Monday
