My attempts to get back on the road are not going well so far.
I have a refresher driving lesson booked for 11 June.
I've requested a replacement Driving License from the DVLA. I lost mine around 2001 after passing in 1999 (had never driven since passing). The address it was register to was knocked down in 2001 which is by the by but means it has taken me longer to request the replacement than I thought as the online system wasn't recognising me and I was trying (how foolish) to call them for ages to find out what I was meant to do until I eventually came to my senses and uncovered some well hidden information about how to write to them and what to send.
Anyhoo...my question is (AA shut until Monday), when you have a driving lesson what do you need to take to your first one? I have my theory certificate but I don't this is the thing, but it does have my Driver Number on it. My quest continues on the AA website, any advice appreciated.
